......You can walk to the beach in 15 minutes. . On the way you cross Ave. Cuauhtemoc and go down one side of the park PAPAGAYO. Then you cross Ave. Costera Miguel Aleman - the main street of Acapulco - and you are on the beach.

......Right where you go down to the beach the hotel district starts, with its modern hotels, shops and restaurants. Along that stretch you find all kinds of shops, restaurants and Acapulco's nightlife.

On Ave. Cuauhtemoc you will find two bus terminals: Estrella de Oro to your left, co, Estrella Blanca half a block to the right coming down the hill from the house. There are also several supermarkets within a few blocks.

A bus- or taxi-ride gets you to the old city center in 10 minutes. Remember, don't pay more than $25.- pesos for the taxi.. Any ride farther than that will be the double.
